Shota Nakamura
B. 1987, YAMANASHI, JAPAN
Shota Nakamura’s works tear off the viewer, processing colored kaleidoscopic worlds, and directing them to the world of flowing miracles of colors. With his creations, the artist struggles with the hectic rhythm that defines our lives, responding with calm silence, freeing the viewer from the inexorable influx of images and media. Nakamura expands his paintings into other realms, his compositions, depicting the fluid boundary between domestic and wild spaces, make his work very individual and recognizable. It is in contemplative figures, reflections, and transitions that the artist draws inspiration from his works, which consist mainly of oil paintings.
