Tim Parchikov lives in Paris. His background in filmmaking, has influenced his photohraphic work to have a near cinematic sense of atmosphere. Regardless of subject matter, Parchikov imbues his works with a commanding immediacy, confronting his viewer with the essence of the piece, its emotion, its themes, its intention. In direct contradiction to this, however, is his other great talent as a visual artist, his affinity for mystery and the unseen. With Parchikov, in a visual sense, it is as much what is not said as what is.
